AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Five Thousand Dollars
($305,000.00) from Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Coldwater
Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Mallard Lane & Pheasant Drive Storm Sewer
(10388) in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20507 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for the aforesaid storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Two Hundred Fifty-Five
Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety Dollars ($255,790.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Forty-Nine Thousand Two Hundred Ten Dollars
($49,210.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Five Thousand Dollars ($305,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek for storm sewer construction in Mallard Lane & Pheasant Drive Storm Sewer
(10388) in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20507 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer
construction in Mallard Lane & Pheasant Drive Storm Sewer (10388) in the City of Florissant,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 6th day of December 2016.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 9, 2017.
