AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($50,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for general geotechnical
services in General Services Agreement – Geotechnical (FY2015) Contract B (11754) in various
locations within the District; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract
No. 20222 with Shannon & Wilson Inc. for the aforesaid general geotechnical services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14005, adopted December 11, 2014, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20222; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for general geotechnical services in General
Services Agreement – Geotechnical (FY2015) Contract B (11754) in various locations within the
District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
1 to Contract No. 20222 with Shannon & Wilson Inc. for general geotechnical services in
General Services Agreement – Geotechnical (FY2015) Contract B (11754) in various locations
within the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 9, 2017.
