AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a construction contract with
ABNA Engineering, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction in Dr. Martin Luther King Drive 6512
& 6520 Sanitary Sewer (IR) (12718) in the City of Wellston, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14400, adopted July 14, 2016, appropriated the initial
funding for Infrastructure Repairs (Wastewater) (2017) (12007).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a construction
contract with ABNA Engineering, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction in Dr. Martin Luther King
Drive 6512 & 6520 Sanitary Sewer (IR) (12718) in the City of Wellston, Missouri; said
agreement shall provide for a fee not to exceed One Hundred Fifty-Eight Thousand Dollars
($158,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and shall be comprised of such other terms
and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on April 13, 2017.
