AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Five Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary
sewer construction and private I/I removal in UR-10 Mendell and Wolter Sanitary Relief
(SKME-595) (10027) in the Cities of Vinita Park and University City, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14093, adopted July 10, 2014, appropriated the initial
funding for and authorized Contract No. 20263; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction and
private I/I removal in UR-10 Mendell and Wolter Sanitary Relief (SKME-595) (10027) in the
Cities of Vinita Park and University City, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate funds for
sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in UR-10 Mendell and Wolter Sanitary Relief
(SKME-595) (10027) in the Cities of Vinita Park and University City, Missouri, and shall be
comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on May 11, 2017.
