HomeMy Public PortalAbout14649 Pump Station Replacement Projects (Phase I) (P-702) (11701)ORDINANCE NO. 14649 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Seven Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($1,720,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements in Pump Station Replacement Projects (Phase I) (P-702) (11701) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20605 with Pangea, Inc. dba Pangea Group for the aforesaid pump station improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for said pump station improvements is One Million Three Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-Five and 28/100 Dollars ($1,325,985.28) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Three Hundred Ninety-Four Thousand Fourteen and 72/100 Dollars ($394,014.72); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Seven Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($1,720,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump station improvements in Pump Station Replacement Projects (Phase I) (P-702) (11701) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20605 with Pangea, Inc. dba Pangea Group, as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in Pump Station Replacement Projects (Phase I) (P-702) (11701) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 21st day of March, 2017. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on May 11, 2017.
