AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars
($110,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal in
Reavsdale I/I Reduction (Mackenzie Rd and Reavis Barracks Rd) (12420) in Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20602 with
ABNA Engineering, Inc. for the aforesaid private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Ninety-Eight Thousand Four
Hundred Ninety-Nine Dollars ($98,499.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and
other project expenses is Eleven Thousand Five Hundred One Dollars ($11,501.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($110,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal in Reavsdale I/I
Reduction (Mackenzie Rd and Reavis Barracks Rd) (12420) in Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20602 with ABNA Engineering, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal
in Reavsdale I/I Reduction (Mackenzie Rd and Reavis Barracks Rd) (12420) in Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 17th day of March, 2017.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on May 11, 2017.
