AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars
($915,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Creve
Coeur Frontenac to be used for channel stabilization in Conway – Clerbrook Storm Channel
(10348) in the City of Ladue, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No.
20603 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc. for the aforesaid channel stabilization.
WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Eight Hundred Sixty-Two
Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Eight Dollars ($862,368.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Fifty-Two Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Two
Dollars ($52,632.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($915,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund
of Creve Coeur Frontenac for channel stabilization in Conway – Clerbrook Storm Channel
(10348) in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20603 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel
stabilization in Conway – Clerbrook Storm Channel (10348) in the City of Ladue, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received on the 16th day of March, 2017.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on May 11, 2017.
