AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars
($280,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal in
Dammert and Broadway Sanitary Relief (SKME-551) (11155) in Unincorporated St. Louis
County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20625 with Pavement
Solutions, LLC for the aforesaid private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Two Hundred Fifty-Nine
Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-Four Dollars ($259,494.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Twenty Thousand Five Hundred Six Dollars
($20,506.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($280,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal in Dammert
and Broadway Sanitary Relief (SKME-551) (11155) in Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20625 with Pavement Solutions, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I
removal in Dammert and Broadway Sanitary Relief (SKME-551) (11155) in Unincorporated St.
Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 29th day of March, 2017.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on June 8, 2017.
