AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($48,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal in Kappel (Partial) I/I
Reduction (Exuma Dr and Glen Owen Dr) (12314) in the Cities of Ferguson and Dellwood,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20663 with Taylormade
Construction Co., LLC, for the aforesaid private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Forty-One Thousand Eight
Hundred Sixty Dollars ($41,860.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other
project expenses is Six Thousand One Hundred Forty Dollars ($6,140.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($48,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal in Kappel (Partial) I/I
Reduction (Exuma Dr and Glen Owen Dr) (12314) in the Cities of Ferguson and Dellwood,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20663 with Taylormade Construction Co., LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for private
I/I removal in Kappel (Partial) I/I Reduction (Exuma Dr and Glen Owen Dr) (12314) in the
Cities of Ferguson and Dellwood, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 14th day of April,
2017.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 8, 2017.
