AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal in Springdale I/I
Reduction (Rolling Dr and Smithfield Pl) (12209) in the City of Bel-Ridge and Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20666 with
ABNA Engineering, Inc. for the aforesaid private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Sixty-Six Thousand One
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($66,150.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other
project expenses is Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($8,850.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal in Springdale I/I
Reduction (Rolling Dr and Smithfield Pl) (12209) in the City of Bel-Ridge and Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20666 with ABNA Engineering, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal
in Springdale I/I Reduction (Rolling Dr and Smithfield Pl) (12209) in the City of Bel-Ridge and
Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 19th day of April,
2017.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 8, 2017.
