HomeMy Public PortalAbout14702 Concord II Reduction (Tesson Ferry Rd and E Concord Rd) (12128)ORDINANCE NO. 14702 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Concord I/I Reduction (Tesson Ferry Rd and E Concord Rd) (12128) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20789 with Taylormade Construction Co., LLC for the aforesaid private I/I removal and storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal and storm sewer construction is One Hundred Forty-Seven Thousand Fifty Dollars ($147,050.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Twenty-Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($27,950.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Concord I/I Reduction (Tesson Ferry Rd and E Concord Rd) (12128) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20789 with Taylormade Construction Co., LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Concord I/I Reduction (Tesson Ferry Rd and E Concord Rd) (12128) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 13th day of June, 2017. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on August 10, 2017.
