HomeMy Public PortalAbout14704 Royal Pines Pump Station (P-739) Replacement (12193)ORDINANCE NO. 14704 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($625,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements in Royal Pines Pump Station (P-739) Replacement (12193) in the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20768 with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for the aforesaid pump station improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for said pump station improvements is Five Hundred Thirty- Eight Thousand Dollars ($538,000.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Eighty-Seven Thousand Dollars ($87,000.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($625,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump station improvements in Royal Pines Pump Station (P-739) Replacement (12193) in the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20768 with Bates Utility Company, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in Royal Pines Pump Station (P-739) Replacement (12193) in the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 6th day of June, 2017. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on August 10, 2017.
