HomeMy Public PortalAbout14710 New England Town Cliff Cave Pump Station (P-323) Improvements (10715)ORDINANCE NO. 14710 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($220,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design of sanitary sewers and pump station elimination in New England Town Cliff Cave Pump Station (P-323) Improvements (10715) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 5 to Contract No. 10591 with The Sterling Company for the aforesaid design services. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13174, adopted December 9, 2010, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 10591; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($220,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for design of sanitary sewers and pump station elimination in New England Town Cliff Cave Pump Station (P-323) Improvements (10715) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 5 to Contract No. 10591 with The Sterling Company for design of sanitary sewers and pump station elimination in New England Town Cliff Cave Pump Station (P-323) Improvements (10715) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on August 10, 2017.
