AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Seventy Thousand
Dollars ($70,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for property acquisition, demolition
and related activities of real property for flood mitigation purposes in Jennings Station
Road/North Baden Basin (Property Acquisition) (11140) in the Cities of Jennings and Flordell
Hills, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13583, adopted March 14, 2013, authorized the
appropriation for property acquisition, demolition and related activities of real property for flood
mitigation purposes in Jennings Station Road/North Baden Basin (Property Acquisition) (11140)
in the Cities of Jennings and Flordell Hills, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for property acquisition, demolition and
related activities of real property for flood mitigation purposes in Jennings Station Road/North
Baden Basin (Property Acquisition) (11140) in the Cities of Jennings and Flordell Hills,
Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
This foregoing ordinance was adopted on September 14, 2017.
