AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Thirty-Five
Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer
construction and private I/I removal in Forestate and Texas Sanitary Relief (SKME-513)
(11750), in the Village of Grantwood Village and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri;
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds for Contract No. 20322 with Fred M.
Luth & Sons, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14250, adopted November 12, 2015, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20322; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I
removal in Forestate and Texas Sanitary Relief (SKME-513) (11750), in the Village of
Grantwood Village and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
for Contract No. 20322 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction and
private I/I removal in Forestate and Texas Sanitary Relief (SKME-513) (11750), in the Village
of Grantwood Village and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, and shall be comprised of
such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on September 14, 2017.
