AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Maline Creek for storm sewer
construction in Doane Drive #1719 Storm Sewer (11251) in the City of Dellwood, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20795 with Gershenson Construction Co. for
the aforesaid storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Seventy-One Thousand
Six Hundred Fifty-Five Dollars ($71,655.00) and the allowance for construction change orders
and other project expenses is Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Forty-Five Dollars
($18,345.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek for storm sewer construction in Doane Drive #1719 Storm Sewer (11251) in the City of
Dellwood, Missouri
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20795 with Gershenson Construction Co., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer
construction in Doane Drive #1719 Storm Sewer (11251) in the City of Dellwood, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received on the 6th day of July, 2017.
Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on September 14, 2017.
