AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Hundred Fifty-
Nine Thousand Five Hundred Four Dollars ($259,504.00) from the General Fund for Water
Quality Sampling in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (2017) (12003) in various locations
throughout the District and authorizing the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20455 with
Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. for the aforesaid water quality sampling.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14497, adopted September 15, 2016, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20455; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty-Nine Thousand Five Hundred Four
Dollars ($259,504.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for Water Quality Sampling
in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (2017) (12003) throughout the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20455
with Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. for water quality sampling in Stream Flow Water Quality
Sampling (2017) (12003) in various locations throughout the District.
Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on September 14, 2017.
