AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Five Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and One Million Dollars
($1,000,000.00) from the General Fund for reduction of prohibited discharges in Private Inflow
and Infiltration Reduction Program (11877) in various locations throughout the District.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13486, adopted September 27, 2012, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Private Inflow and Infiltration Reduction Program (11877); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and the sum of One Million Dollars
($1,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for reduction of prohibited
discharges in Private Inflow and Infiltration Reduction Program (11877) in various locations
throughout the District; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on October 12, 2017.
