HomeMy Public PortalAbout14792 Pump Station Repair and Improvement Design (Contract A) (12697)ORDINANCE NO. 14792 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for design Pump Station Repair and Improvement Design (Contract A) (12697) in the Cities of Chesterfield, Hazelwood, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21473 with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for the aforesaid design services. WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for design Pump Station Repair and Improvement Design (Contract A) (12697) in the Cities of Chesterfield, Hazelwood, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21473 with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for design Pump Station Repair and Improvement Design (Contract A) (12697) in the Cities of Chesterfield, Hazelwood, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on October 12, 2017.
