HomeMy Public PortalAbout14811 Edgehill Drive #1021 - 1029 Storm Sewer (11160)ORDINANCE NO. 14811 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Edgehill Drive #1021 – 1029 Storm Sewer (11160) in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21233 with ABNA Engineering, Inc. for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is One Hundred Twenty- Nine Thousand Six Hundred Twelve Dollars ($129,612.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Twenty Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-Eight Dollars ($20,388.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Maline Creek for storm sewer construction in Edgehill Drive #1021 – 1029 Storm Sewer (11160) in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21233 with ABNA Engineering, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Edgehill Drive #1021 – 1029 Storm Sewer (11160) in the City of Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 7th day of September, 2017. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on November 9, 2017.
