AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($370,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in
Ladue Farms Pump Station (P-733) Replacement (12320) in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri;
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21627 with Above and Below Contracting,
LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Three Hundred
Nineteen Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars ($319,789.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Fifty Thousand Two Hundred Eleven
Dollars ($50,211.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($370,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer
construction in Ladue Farms Pump Station (P-733) Replacement (12320) in the City of
Chesterfield, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 21627 with Above and Below Contracting, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for
sanitary sewer construction in Ladue Farms Pump Station (P-733) Replacement (12320) in the
City of Chesterfield, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 16th day of November, 2017.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 11, 2018.
