AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Hundred Forty
Thousand Dollars ($140,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for rainfall data gathering and
analysis in Radar Rainfall Data (2017) (12005) District-wide; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 20526 with Vieux and Associates, Inc. for the aforesaid
rainfall data gathering and analysis.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 14592, adopted January 12, 2017, appropriated the initial
funding for and authorized Contract No. 20526;
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise its option to renew said contract for
the one-year renewal term; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($140,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the General Fund to be used for rainfall data gathering and analysis in
Radar Rainfall Data (2017) (12005) District-wide.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
1 to Contract No. 20526 with Vieux and Associates, Inc. for rainfall data gathering and analysis
in Radar Rainfall Data (2017) (12005) District-wide; said contract being comprised of such
terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 11, 2018.
