AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Hundred Eighty
Thousand Dollars ($280,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek and Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000.00) from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in
Lackland I/I Reduction Part 2 (11712) in the Cities of Overland, Sycamore Hills, St. John, and
Charlack, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds for Contract
No. 20440 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 14487, adopted September 15, 2016, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20440; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($280,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund
of Coldwater Creek and the sum of Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal and storm
sewer construction in Lackland I/I Reduction Part 2 (11712) in the Cities of Overland, Sycamore
Hills, St. John, and Charlack, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
for Contract No. 20440 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., for private I/I removal and storm sewer
construction in Lackland I/I Reduction Part 2 (11712) in the Cities of Overland, Sycamore Hills,
St. John, and Charlack, Missouri, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as
are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
