HomeMy Public PortalAbout14866 Maywood Myron Storm Sewer (11637)ORDINANCE NO. 14866 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for combined sewer construction in Maywood – Myron Storm Sewer (11637) in the Cities of Velda City and Velda Village Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21632 with Gaehle Grading, LLC for the aforesaid combined sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said combined sewer construction is Ninety-Nine Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-Eight Dollars ($99,588.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Fifty Thousand Four Hundred Twelve Dollars ($50,412.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for combined sewer construction in Maywood – Myron Storm Sewer (11637) in the Cities of Velda City and Velda Village Hills, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21632 with Gaehle Grading, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for combined sewer construction in Maywood – Myron Storm Sewer (11637) in the Cities of Velda City and Velda Village Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 5th day of December, 2017. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. This foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 15, 2018.
