HomeMy Public PortalAbout14873 Hudson Rd#1401 - #1405 Bank Stabilization (MCDW-120) (10020)ORDINANCE NO. 14873 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars ($385,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for channel stabilization in Hudson Rd. #1401 – #1405 Bank Stabilization (MCDW-120) (10020) in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21638 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc. for the aforesaid channel stabilization. WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Three Hundred Thirty-Eight Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-Two Dollars ($338,322.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Forty-Six Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-Eight Dollars ($46,678.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars ($385,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for channel stabilization in Hudson Rd. #1401 – #1405 Bank Stabilization (MCDW-120) (10020) in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21638 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in Hudson Rd. #1401 – #1405 Bank Stabilization (MCDW-120) (10020) in the City of Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 4th day of January, 2018. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. This foregoing ordinance was adopted on March 8, 2018.
