HomeMy Public PortalAbout14877 Black Creek Sanitary Sewer and II Reduction Part 2 (11883)ORDINANCE NO. 14877 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Black Creek Sanitary Sewer and I/I Reduction Part 2 (11883) in the Cities of Clayton, Ladue, and University City, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds for Contract No. 20607 with Above and Below Contracting, LLC for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, Ordinance 14641, adopted May 11, 2017, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20607; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Black Creek Sanitary Sewer and I/I Reduction Part 2 (11883) in the Cities of Clayton, Ladue, and University City, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds for Contract No. 20607 with Above and Below Contracting, LLC for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Black Creek Sanitary Sewer and I/I Reduction Part 2 (11883) in the Cities of Clayton, Ladue, and University City, Missouri, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on April 12, 2018.
