HomeMy Public PortalAbout14884 CCTV Inspection and Physical Inspection of Sewers (2017) (11999)ORDINANCE NO. 14884 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,300,000.00) from the General Fund and Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Clayton Central to be used for CCTV inspection and physical inspection of sewers, sonar inspections, laser profiling, and sewer cleaning in CCTV Inspection and Physical Inspection of Sewers (2017) (11999) throughout the Metropolitan Sewer District Service Area; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 3 to Contract No. 20688 with Ace Pipe Cleaning, Inc. for the aforesaid CCTV inspection and physical inspection of sewers, sonar inspections, laser profiling, and sewer cleaning. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14655, adopted May 11, 2017, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20688; and WHEREAS, said contract provides for an initial term of one (1) year with two (2) additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District, and WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise the option to renew said contract for the first option year, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund and the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Clayton Central for CCTV inspection and physical inspection of sewers, sonar inspections, laser profiling, and sewer cleaning in CCTV Inspection and Physical Inspection of Sewers (2017) (11999) throughout the Metropolitan Sewer District Service Area. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 3 to Contract No. 20688 with Ace Pipe Cleaning, Inc. for CCTV inspection and physical inspection of sewers, sonar inspections, laser profiling, and sewer cleaning in CCTV Inspection and Physical Inspection of Sewers (2017) (11999) throughout the Metropolitan Sewer District Service Area; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on June 14, 2018.
