AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars
($290,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in
Bradford Woods Pump Station (P-429) Replacement (12098) in the City of Sunset Hills,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21657 with Taylormade
Construction Co., LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Two Hundred Fifty-
Four Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($254,595.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Five Thousand Four Hundred
Five Dollars ($35,405.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($290,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in
Bradford Woods Pump Station (P-429) Replacement (12098) in the City of Sunset Hills,
Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by
the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 21657 with Taylormade Construction Co., LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary
sewer construction in Bradford Woods Pump Station (P-429) Replacement (12098) in the City of
Sunset Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 20th day of March, 2018.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on May 10, 2018.
