AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Hundred Forty
Thousand Dollars ($240,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary
sewer construction in Caulks Creek Forcemain (Waterworks Road to River Valley) (12892) in
the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
for Contract No. 21593 with Kolb Grading, LLC for sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 14837, adopted December 14, 2017, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 21593; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($240,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer
construction in Caulks Creek Forcemain (Waterworks Road to River Valley) (12892) in the City
of Maryland Heights, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
for Contract No. 21593 with Kolb Grading, LLC, for sanitary sewer construction in Caulks
Creek Forcemain (Waterworks Road to River Valley) (12892) in the City of Maryland Heights,
Missouri, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the
Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on May 10, 2018.
