AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($370,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Creve
Coeur Frontenac and Two Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($270,000.00) from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund for cost sharing for storm sewer construction in Stonington – Georgian Acres
Storm Sewer (10350) in the City of Frontenac, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an
intergovernmental agreement under Contract No. 21664 with the City of Frontenac, Missouri to
provide financial assistance for storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($370,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and
Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur Frontenac and the sum of Two Hundred Seventy Thousand
Dollars ($270,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for cost
sharing for storm sewer construction in Stonington – Georgian Acres Storm Sewer (10350) in the
City of Frontenac, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have
been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an
intergovernmental agreement under Contract No. 21664 with the City of Frontenac, Missouri to
provide financial assistance for storm sewer construction.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on May 10, 2018.
