HomeMy Public PortalAbout14902 ENG Sterling Place Separate Sewer II Removal Part 2 (11667)ORDINANCE NO. 14902 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Sterling Place Separate Sewer I/I Removal Part 2 (11667) in the Village of Wilbur Park and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21659 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for the aforesaid private I/I removal and storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal and storm sewer construction is Four Hundred Seventy-Four Thousand Fifty Dollars ($474,050.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Seventy-Five Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($75,950.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Sterling Place Separate Sewer I/I Removal Part 2 (11667) in the Village of Wilbur Park and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21659 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Sterling Place Separate Sewer I/I Removal Part 2 (11667) in the Village of Wilbur Park and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 10th day of April, 2018. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on June 14, 2018.
