AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Million Five Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for property
rights acquisition in Easement Acquisition for Wastewater Projects (2019) (12515) in the
Metropolitan Sewer District Service Area; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to acquire necessary property
rights in order to construct combined and sanitary sewer projects.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for property rights
acquisition in Easement Acquisition for Wastewater Projects (2019) (12515) in the Metropolitan
Sewer District Service Area.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate funds for
property rights acquisition in Easement Acquisition for Wastewater Projects (2019) (12515) in
the Metropolitan Sewer District Service Area, and shall be comprised of such other terms and
conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on July 12, 2018.
