HomeMy Public PortalAbout14932 N Clark Ave 49 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (12444)ORDINANCE NO. 14932 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($370,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in N Clark Ave 49 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (12444) in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21677 with Unnerstall Contracting Company, Ltd for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Three Hundred Thirty- Six Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars ($336,492.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Three Thousand Five Hundred Eight Dollars ($33,508.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($370,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in N Clark Ave 49 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (12444) in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21677 with Unnerstall Contracting Company, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in N Clark Ave 49 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (12444) in the City of Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 20th day of June, 2018. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 16, 2018.
