AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($220,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm sewer construction in
Crestwick Drive #9733 and 9741 Storm Sewer (Sunset Hills 11) (11514) in the City of Sunset
Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21669 with Taylormade
Construction Co., LLC for the aforesaid storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Ninety-One Thousand
Two Hundred Ninety-Eight Dollars ($91,298.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Twenty-Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Two
Dollars ($128,702.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($220,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer construction in
Crestwick Drive #9733 and 9741 Storm Sewer (Sunset Hills 11) (11514) in the City of Sunset
Hills, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 21669 with Taylormade Construction Co., LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm
sewer construction in Crestwick Drive #9733 and 9741 Storm Sewer (Sunset Hills 11) (11514) in
the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 5th day of June, 2018.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 16, 2018.
