HomeMy Public PortalAbout14935 Mar Ann Ct. #9819 Storm Improvement (11488)ORDINANCE NO. 14935 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm sewer construction in Mar Ann Ct. #9819 Storm Improvement (11488) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21668 with J. H. Berra Construction Co., Inc. for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is One Hundred Forty Thousand One Hundred Fifty-One Dollars ($140,151.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Four Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars ($34,849.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer construction in Mar Ann Ct. #9819 Storm Improvement (11488) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21668 with J. H. Berra Construction Co., Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Mar Ann Ct. #9819 Storm Improvement (11488) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 6th day of June, 2018. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 16, 2018.
