AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Three Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) from the Stormwater Regulatory Fund to be used for water
quality and environmental regulatory support in General Services Agreement – Water Quality
General Support (2017) (12716) in various locations within the District; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to amend Contract No. 20506 with HDR Engineering, Inc. for the aforesaid water quality
and environmental regulatory support.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14560, adopted November 10, 2016, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20506; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Stormwater Regulatory Fund for water quality and environmental
regulatory support in General Services Agreement – Water Quality General Support (2017)
(12716) in various locations within the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20506
with HDR Engineering, Inc. for water quality and environmental regulatory support in General
Services Agreement – Water Quality General Support (2017) (12716) in various locations within
the District; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved
by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 16, 2018.
