HomeMy Public PortalAbout14967 CSO - Brentwood and Red Bud Ave CSO Interceptor (I-118) Outfall (L-111) Elimination and Sewer Separation (12139)ORDINANCE NO. 14967 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and private I/I removal in CSO – Brentwood and Red Bud Ave CSO Interceptor (I-118)/Outfall (L-111) Elimination and Sewer Separation (12139) in the City of Richmond Heights, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20202 with HDR Engineering, Inc. for the aforesaid design of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and private I/I removal. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13969, adopted October 9, 2014, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20202; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for design of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and private I/I removal in CSO – Brentwood and Red Bud Ave CSO Interceptor (I-118)/Outfall (L-111) Elimination and Sewer Separation (12139) in the City of Richmond Heights, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20202 with HDR Engineering, Inc. for design of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and private I/I removal in CSO – Brentwood and Red Bud Ave CSO Interceptor (I-118)/Outfall (L-111) Elimination and Sewer Separation (12139) in the City of Richmond Heights, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 16, 2018.
