AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($50,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for wastewater treatment
plant construction in Sulphur Yard – Vactor Truck Disposal Building (12835) in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 21093 with Korte & Luitjohan
Contractors, Inc. for the aforesaid wastewater treatment plant construction.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14872, adopted March 8, 2018, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 21093; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for wastewater treatment plant construction in
Sulphur Yard – Vactor Truck Disposal Building (12835) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 21093
with Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc. for wastewater treatment plant construction in Sulphur
Yard – Vactor Truck Disposal Building (12835) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; said contract
being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance has been adopted on September 13, 2018.
