HomeMy Public PortalAbout14978 University City II Reduction - East (WC-01, WC-02, & WC-03) Part 2 (11671)ORDINANCE NO. 14978 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in University City I/I Reduction – East (WC-01, WC-02, & WC-03) Part 2 (11671) in the Cities of Greendale, Normandy, Pagedale, and the Village of Glen Echo Park, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20790 with Pavement Solutions, LLC for the aforesaid private I/I removal and storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14705, adopted August 10, 2017, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20790; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in University City I/I Reduction – East (WC-01, WC-02, & WC-03) Part 2 (11671) in the Cities of Greendale, Normandy, Pagedale, and the Village of Glen Echo Park, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20790 with Pavement Solutions, LLC for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in University City I/I Reduction – East (WC-01, WC-02, & WC-03) Part 2 (11671) in the Cities of Greendale, Normandy, Pagedale, and the Village of Glen Echo Park, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance has been adopted on September 13, 2018.
