AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars
($160,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm sewer construction in
Baxter Road #273 and #301 Storm Sewer (11593) in the City of Ballwin, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21678 with Enterprise Sewer & Drain for the
aforesaid storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Forty-Six Thousand
Thirty-Six Dollars ($46,036.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other
project expenses is One Hundred Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-Four Dollars
($113,964.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($160,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer construction in
Baxter Road #273 and #301 Storm Sewer (11593) in the City of Ballwin, Missouri; said contract
being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 21678 with Enterprise Sewer & Drain, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer
construction in Baxter Road #273 and #301 Storm Sewer (11593) in the City of Ballwin,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 26th day of June, 2018.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance has been adopted on September 13, 2018.
