AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a general services agreement
with McArthur & Associates, Inc., whereby McArthur & Associates, Inc. will provide the
District with Real Estate Brokerage Services by performing services associated with the disposal
of certain properties that are not needed by the District.
WHEREAS, the staff submitted public notice of the Request for Proposals (RFP)
to firms and advertised in local newspapers, and received and evaluated one proposal; and
WHEREAS, based on the Request for Proposal process, the staff has
recommended the selection of McArthur & Associates, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a general services
agreement with McArthur & Associates, Inc., whereby McArthur & Associates, Inc. will provide
the District with Real Estate Brokerage Services by performing services associated with the
disposal of certain properties that are not needed by the District.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this ordinance shall
provide for a term of one (1) year, effective from the notice to proceed, at fees not to exceed 6%
of the sales price of the properties that sell from the Property Acquisition appropriation, and shall
be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel.
The foregoing ordinance has been adopted on September 13, 2018.
