AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Million Five
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,500,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for flow meter and
monitoring in Flow Metering and Monitoring (2017) (12759) District-wide; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 20477 with ADS Environmental
Services for the aforesaid flow meter and monitoring.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14519, adopted October 13, 2016, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20477; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for flow meter and monitoring in
Flow Metering and Monitoring (2017) (12759) District-wide.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
2 to Contract No. 20477 with ADS Environmental Services for flow meter and monitoring in
Flow Metering and Monitoring (2017) (12759) District-wide; said contract being comprised of
such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance has been adopted on September 13, 2018.
