AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Five Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for stream flow monitoring in
Stream Flow Gauge Operation and Maintenance (USGS) (10766) District-wide; and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to amend Contract No. 10422 with U. S. Geological Survey for stream flow monitoring.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14216, adopted September 10, 2015, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 10422; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the General Fund to be used for stream flow monitoring in Stream
Flow Gauge Operation and Maintenance (USGS) (10766) District-wide.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 10422
with U. S. Geological Survey for stream flow monitoring in Stream Flow Gauge Operation and
Maintenance (USGS) (10766) District-wide; and said contract shall be comprised of such other
terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance has been adopted on September 13, 2018.
