AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Hundred
Seventy-Three Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars ($273,789.00) from the General
Fund to be used for water quality sampling in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (2017)
(12003) District-wide; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20455 with Geosyntec
Consultants, Inc. for water quality sampling.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14497, adopted September 15, 2016, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20455; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Seventy-Three Thousand Seven Hundred
Eighty-Nine Dollars ($273,789.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to be used for
water quality sampling in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (2017) (12003) District-wide.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20455
with Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. for water quality sampling in Stream Flow Water Quality
Sampling (2017) (12003) District-wide; and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms
and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance has been adopted on September 13, 2018.
