AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21688 with
Bates Utility Company, Inc. for combined sewer construction in Yale Ave at Bruno Ave
Combined Sewer (IR) (12774) in the City of Maplewood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14689, adopted July 13, 2017, appropriated the initial
funding for this combined sewer construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No.
21688 with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for combined sewer construction in Yale Ave at Bruno
Ave Combined Sewer (IR) (12774) in the City of Maplewood, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received on the 31st day of July, 2018.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this Ordinance shall
provide for a fee not to exceed One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000.00), and shall
be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of General
Counsel.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted ton October 11, 2018.
