Home My Public Portal About15016 Diplomat Lane Outfall Stabilization (11447)ORDINANCE NO. 15016 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($235,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm sewer construction in Diplomat Lane Outfall Stabilization (11447) in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21696 with Pace Construction Company for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is One Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($145,895.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Eighty-Nine Thousand One Hundred Five Dollars ($89,105.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($235,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer construction in Diplomat Lane Outfall Stabilization (11447) in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21696 with Pace Construction Company, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Diplomat Lane Outfall Stabilization (11447) in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 16th day of August, 2018. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted ton October 11, 2018.
