HomeMy Public PortalAbout15018 Wise and West Park Storm Improvement (11477)ORDINANCE NO. 15018 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm sewer construction in Wise and West Park Storm Improvement (11477) in the City of Richmond Heights, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21690 with KJU dba KJ Unnerstall Construction Co. for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Eighty-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars ($88,992.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-One Thousand Eight Dollars ($31,008.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer construction in Wise and West Park Storm Improvement (11477) in the City of Richmond Heights, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21690 with KJU dba KJ Unnerstall Construction Co., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Wise and West Park Storm Improvement (11477) in the City of Richmond Heights, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 2nd day of August, 2018. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted ton October 11, 2018.
