AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Sixty Thousand
Dollars ($60,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for general engineering
services in General Services Agreement – Facility & Sewer Design (2016) (11760) in various
locations within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 20350 with Tetra Tech, Inc. for the aforesaid general
engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14257, adopted November 12, 2015, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20350; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for general engineering services in General
Services Agreement – Facility & Sewer Design (2016) (11760) in various locations within The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
2 to Contract No. 20350 with Tetra Tech, Inc., for general engineering services in General
Services Agreement – Facility & Sewer Design (2016) (11760) in various locations within The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; said contract being comprised of such terms and
conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted ton October 11, 2018.
