AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design of
repairs and improvements in Lower Meramec WWTF Corrosion and Humidity Control
Improvements (12499) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 21454 with Crawford Murphy & Tilly
Inc. for the aforesaid design of repairs and improvements.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14791, adopted October 10, 2017, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 21454; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for design of repairs and
improvements in Lower Meramec WWTF Corrosion and Humidity Control Improvements
(12499) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment
No. 1 to Contract No. 21454 with Crawford Murphy & Tilly Inc., for design of repairs and
improvements in Lower Meramec WWTF Corrosion and Humidity Control Improvements
(12499) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such
terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted ton October 11, 2018.
