AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,800,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sewer construction in Harlem Baden
Relief Phase IV (Hebert) – Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation (11800) in the Cities of St. Louis and
Hillsdale, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an intergovernmental agreement under
Contract No. 21732 with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide financial assistance for
sewer construction.
WHEREAS, The Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,800,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sewer
construction in Harlem Baden Relief Phase IV (Hebert) – Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation (11800) in
the Cities of St. Louis and Hillsdale, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an
intergovernmental agreement under Contract No. 21732 with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
to provide financial assistance for sewer construction in Harlem Baden Relief Phase IV (Hebert)
– Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation (11800) in the Cities of St. Louis and Hillsdale, Missouri.
Section Three. The intergovernmental agreement authorized in Section Two of
this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the
Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on October 11, 2018.
